Do you still remember the first time that the light of hope had stroke you when you saw The Secret? I still can remember the desire that had filled my heart, knowing that FINALLY, I can make my dreams come TRUE!

But how many of you had drop off hope and got frustrated when it comes to your dreams? How many of you had uttered things like:

- “It seems working for other people, but for me it’s not.”

- “I’m a bit disappointed for sometimes I can make it work but there are times I can’t. What’s the trick?”

- “Why is it I encounter too much trouble?”

- “As I can see it, the universe is against me.”

1. Allow yourself to receive.

Here’s a concrete example of this. If there’s a lost child who approaches a police officer and ask, “Excuse me Sir, can you tell me the way to the post office? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you?” Try to examine that situation. If the child keeps on asking and repeating himself, then he is not giving any chance for the police to speak up and give an answer, right?

It is the same thing with your mind. If you the only thing your mind knows is to transmit the universe, then you are not allowing the universe to give a single thing. You are not allowing yourself to receive!

So stop exhausting yourself by running around and begging for riches and then wondering why nobody is giving you. Instead, have confidence in yourself and think of your desires. Leave it out there! Trust that the universe will be filling your cup with gold coins or whatever it is you asked for.

2. Be Patient With Yourself

Receiving takes time.

Yes, in this world everything has a natural development and it is just natural that there are things which couldn’t happen by just taking a few steps.

You have to wait! It is not good to stop and be tired when you feel like nothing is working or it will never work out.

3. Support and educate yourself

Everyone who is starting and learning needs support and guidance. A need of role models is also a good thing for you to have someone to look up to.

Concluding that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work because you have watched “The Secret” for about 20 times and still nothing is happening. Well, it shouldn’t be like that. It is not enough that you educate yourself by just watching.

Then, what else could you do?

Be hungry for knowledge. Get out and learn! Becoming a part of an organization or community wherein everyone is supporting each other to learn and guide is a good way of acquiring knowledge. Make an effort to do so.

Join groups:

By joining different groups, you’ll be getting a massive exposure and potentially have an access to high quality leads. Try to join groups that have at least 10, 000 members who are actively working on their LinkedIn accounts.

Create your own LinkedIn group and share relevant content:

It gives you control over its content and reach if you start your own group. You can open the group only to people you know. If appropriate, you can also open it up to a larger audience if you have time. Engaging your audience and leveraging your thoughts about leadership is your goal to make a difference with members of your group.

Use the power of articles:

Write quality articles then post your written articles on your own groups and groups that you are member off. Make sure to post articles relevant to the groups or you will be considered as a spammer. Readers like quality articles so make sure to write only articles that will educate or give helpful information.

Asking and answering questions:

Learn how to interact within your groups. There will be times that you will receive questions from the articles that you have posted. To show that you are real and to give respect to your readers, make sure to take the time to answer those questions and connect with your readers. This way, there’s a possibility that they will check out your profile and would want to connect with you and find out what you are all about.

Post comments:

By posting comments, you are not only proving that you are an active LinkedIn user but also someone who is real. This is also a great way to get recognized an active discussion.

Learn to engage your new connections:

You have to have an initiative. When someone commented or visited your profile, take your time to respond to their comments and connect to them. Once someone gave feedback on your article, it is a proof that you’ve added value to them and you have added something in their mind by your article.

Update:

Bear in mind that marketing should be in a regular basis to get a positive result. It is not enough that you have posted an article but you have to do it at least once a day. If you have forgotten to post one then do not let a week pass without posting another or else your existence will be forgotten.
